Hello and welcome to our sports blog!

 

Chris: I am currently a student attending the University of North Texas School of Pharmacy. Yes Pharmacy, I have no other writing experience and am creating this based solely off the fact that I love talking sports. I love discussing sports, and I want to share my opinions and views about the current sports world and have discussions with anyone who is interested. My goal is to post about once a week, maybe more, maybe less, and talk about what the buzz is. If you have want to have a serious conversation than I am all for it. I welcome all opinions, I understand not everyone will share my opinions so if you have anything you would like to say, shoot for it.

 

Born and raised in the great state of Texas, but a die hard New England fan. Yes, due to family origins, I am a huge fan and most of my posts will be regarding these teams, with an occasional sprinkle of Texas teams. Over my years I have spend a GREAT deal of time defending the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics to these Texas fans so I warn you, if you want to debate, I am a seasoned veteran.  Enough about me, lets dig down and talk sports.

Sam: Hello, my name is Sam and I in fact do NOT like green eggs and ham. So please don't ask. ;) I am currently a junior/senior high school band director so this blog is a vacation from the tween/teen hormone fest that I deal with every day of my waking life. I am getting back into sports after a hiatus due to college so forgive me if I don't know EVERYTHING from the beginning of time to now about the Red Sox, but I warn you now, I learn very fast so if you want to have a discussion, debate, or whatever word you want to describe communication then good luck to you sir or madam.

Born in the greater than Texas state of Louisiana I still love the Red Sox. Especially considering we don't even have a baseball team and from the first sentence, not big on Texas teams either, but I don't hold that against Chris. It's not his fault. I've loved the Red Sox ever since the wonderful PS1 game Triple Play '99, but as far as other sports go I stick to my roots and cheer for the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans (though Celtics is a very close 2nd). If you would like to debate or discuss any of these sports with me, I would be more than happy to oblige.
